If you suffer from broken or missing teeth, the effects are more than just skin deep. In addition to causing an unattractive smile, broken and missing teeth allow bacteria, food particles, and other contaminants to invade the tooth, often beyond the gum line. This can cause inflammation, infection, or even an abscessed tooth, an extremely painful and potential harmful complication. An implant is a relatively simple and permanent procedure that can help protect the area and restore your teeth and gums to a healthy condition. The prosthetic tooth is held in place by a titanium screw, which fuses with your jawbone over time, making the replacement a permanent part of your smile. There are occasions due to bone loss that some additional procedures are necessary to enhance the stability of the implant which we would discuss with you at the implant consultation and after review of digital x-rays and Ct Scan. The implant, which will look and feel exactly the same as a natural tooth, also helps to enhance the aesthetic appeal of your teeth.

We can handle your dental implant, from the initial extraction to placing the implant crown. If you have questions or concerns about the procedure, a licensed specialist is always on hand to answer your questions, and we even help manage with several payment options. Dont spend another day hiding a smile that youre not proud of. Call us for a consultation today and we can help you.

Implants are divided into 3 stages: implant placement, fabrication of implant crown and insertion of implant crown.

Implant placement is the surgical process of placing the implant in the jawbone creating an artificial tooth root and the stability to place an implant crown. We utilize Simplant technology and a Piezotome when needed as tools to make this surgical procedure pain-free, quick, precise and cost effective (see descriptions of both procedures under Technology tab located on our home page).

Fabrication of an implant crown is the second stage of a dental implant process which is usually starts 3-5 months after surgical placement of the implant. Implant crowns consist of two pieces the implant abutment (attachment) and the ceramic/zirconia/nobel metal fused to porcelain crown, which is the tooth-looking portion placed over the implant and attachment. Significantly stronger than dentures or partials, an implant crown offers a single and permanent solution to a lost tooth, several teeth (implant bridge) and fixed permanent dentures (overdentures). Our office utilizes Atlantis CAD/CAM technology (a detailed description of Atlantis CAD/CAM is located under Technology tab on our home page) to make customized implant attachments and all ceramic (Emax) restorations that are the most natural looking crowns on the market today. Only you will know youve had the work done, and it wont be long before even you forget that is not a natural tooth.
